Jay Olcutt Sanders (né le 16 avril 1953) est un acteur américain. Il est connu pour ses rôles à la télévision dans le rôle de Bill Weller dans Blindspot, Jack Bryant dans Manhunt, le chef Tom Lidell dans The Sinner, le détective John Maynard dans Widows, le capitaine Joseph Hannah dans Law & Order: Criminal Intent et l'avocat de la mafia Steven Kordo dans la série policière Crime Story de NBC (1986-1988), ainsi que pour ses rôles au cinéma dans The Day After Tomorrow (2004), Green Lantern (2011) et les films d'Alex Cross avec Morgan Freeman. Il est apparu dans de nombreux autres films notables, notamment Glory (1989), Mr. Destiny (1990), JFK (1991), Angels in the Outfield (1994), The Big Green (1995), Daylight (1996), The Matchmaker (1997), For Richer or Poorer (1997), Tumbleweeds (1999), Music of the Heart (1999), Half Nelson (2006), Cadillac Records (2008) et Revolutionary Road (2008).
