Uschi Digard est née à Saltsjö-Duvnäs, près de Stockholm, en Suède, en 1948. À 16 ans, elle a quitté le domicile familial, s'est rendue à Paris où elle a passé un an, puis en Italie, avant de poursuivre son voyage vers l'Angleterre. Elle est revenue dans son pays natal, la Suède, mais s'est finalement installée aux États-Unis en 1967. Travaillant comme traductrice dans le secteur de la joaillerie, on lui a si souvent dit qu'elle devrait faire du mannequinat qu'elle a fini par se lancer. Peu de temps après, elle a commencé à apparaître dans des films érotiques softcore et a finalement été « découverte » par le cinéaste Russ Meyer. Après une longue et illustre carrière, elle a pris sa retraite en 1989. Elle parle huit langues (allemand, italien, espagnol, suédois, danois, norvégien, français et anglais).
