Né le 2 avril 1961 à Washington, D.C., Christopher Meloni est un acteur américain connu pour sa présence intense à l’écran. Il se fait remarquer dans les années 1990 avec des rôles dans L’Armée des 12 singes (1995) et Bound (1996). À la télévision, il devient une figure emblématique en incarnant le détective Elliot Stabler dans New York, unité spéciale (1999-2011, puis 2021-), rôle qui lui vaut une nomination aux Emmy Awards. Il excelle également dans des séries comme Oz (1998-2003), où il joue le criminel Chris Keller, et True Blood (2012). Au cinéma, il apparaît dans Man of Steel (2013) et Sinister (2012).
